Can You Make Money On Fiverr As A Voice Over Artist - Yes!

Mar 04, 2021

Absolutely You Can!

I get asked this question a lot and the reality is ... you can make a ridiculous amount of money on Fiverr.

I started four years ago on Fiverr when it had been around for about seven years at that point. It was taking a lot of flak from people who didn't believe in the website, but I decided to give it a go because honestly, I didn't know what else to do as a beginner (It still takes flak today, but not as much).

As I looked around on Fiverr, I started seeing lots of people making tons of money. Of course, this inspired me, so I began to ask myself, "If all these people are making money on Fiverr, why in the world can't I make money on Fiverr?

So, this is what I did:

  • I started creating more gigs
  • I worked on my SEO on Fiverr
  • I started paying attention to what top-rated sellers were doing

In the meantime, I got better as a voice actor, which helped me make better demos (yes, I make my own), which led to more business.

I went from my first year of only making $800, to my fourth year of making over $100,000 on Fiverr.

But what is even more incredible is that there are tons of people making way more money than I am. There are some people making $20,000, $30,000, and even $40,000 a month on Fiverr in the voiceover arena. That's what I love about the website.

I think when people ask, "Can you make money on Fiverr" or "Can you make money from home", they're really wondering about freelancing in general.

Yes, you can make a lot of money as a freelancer.

But I also believe a lot of fear revolves around Fiverrs name and the stigma that comes from charging five dollars. Also, there are lots of people out there that say Fiverr is an easy way to make money.

Many of these points were valid years ago, but not today. And when it comes to the ease of making money online with Fiverr, the truth is ... it is easy ... but only if you have the skill and ability to deliver the product that people are looking for. Fiverr makes it easy by an exceptional platform that anyone can use.

Facts about Fiverr:

  • Fiverr is a publicly traded company
  • They are over 10 years old
  • In 2019, Fiverr reported over 107 Million Dollars in Revenue. And 2020, they grew a whopping 87% despite the pandemic.
  • First Super Bowl Ad in 2021
  • Over 23,000 offers in voice-over alone
  • 65 million visitors a month
  • Less than 15 minutes from a customer to arrive on the website and buy

Fiverr is constantly driving millions of targeted customers to their website and it is only growing. With that many visits, Fiverr is in a league of their own.

To top it all off, LinkedIn might be throwing their hat into the freelance ring, by offering their own subscribers a way to freelance and sell services.

This goes a long way to legitimize the gig economy. And in my opinion, I don't think this is going to hurt Fiverr.

Microsoft has a tall order to fill competing with Fiverr. And if LinkedIn gets it wrong in any terms, they will end up giving Fiverr a MASSIVE boost to their business.

As you can tell, I am pro Fiverr and have been for years. I make a lot of money from the freelance platform and I will continue to do so. Take a look at what I made just last month:

With the money in the queue, that was $9,000 in one month in Voice Over.

The point here is that Fiverr is a great place to be and you can most definitely make money and lots of it.
