Saturday Belongs to Us
Hype, college football season open · Adult (30-45) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[Music: a single piano note, then a slow drum build]
You remember the first time.
The parking lot at eight in the morning. Somebody's uncle already at the grill. A kid in a jersey three sizes too big, holding his dad's hand like the whole world might get away from him.
You remember the walk up the ramp. The noise before you could see anything. And then the field, so green it didn't look real.
[drums build]
That feeling never left. It just waited.
It waited through the winter. Through spring practice nobody watched. Through a summer of two-a-days in heat that would flatten most people.
[music swells]
Now the waiting's over. The Kestrel State Hawks open at home against Dunmore Tech, and seventy thousand people are about to remember why they love this.
Saturday, three-thirty, right here on the Crestline Sports Network.
[hit]
Saturday belongs to us.
Under the Lights in Ashby Ridge
High school, Friday night football · Adult (40-55) · Southern US · 30 seconds
[Music: marching band drumline, slightly distant]
In Ashby Ridge, Friday doesn't start at seven. It starts Monday, with the first practice and the first argument at the diner about who should start at quarterback.
This week it's the Panthers and Coal Creek, and the last time these two met, it went to double overtime.
Come early. Bring a blanket. Cheer for our boys.
Friday at seven, Gilmore Field. Under the lights.
Game Seven
Playoffs, basketball deciding game · Adult (30-45) · Neutral American · 30 seconds
[Music: low heartbeat bass]
Six games. Eighty-one lead changes. Two teams that know every move the other one makes.
It all comes down to this.
One game.
One night.
The Harbor City Gulls and the Northgate Foundry, winner goes to the finals, loser goes home and thinks about it all summer.
[beat]
Game seven. Sunday at eight, on Crestline.
Nobody's sleeping tonight.

The Grind Doesn't Take a Day Off
Hype, training montage · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 30 seconds
[Music: slow, heavy beat. SFX: weights hitting the floor]
Nobody sees the five a.m. alarm.
Nobody sees the empty gym, the ice bath, the film session that runs past midnight.
They see the highlight. Twelve seconds of it, on a loop.
But every second of that highlight was paid for in hours nobody filmed.
Show up. Do the work. Do it again tomorrow.
That's the job.
Weekend Recap: Comets Stun the Gulls
Recap, weekend highlights · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 30 seconds
[Music: news-style sports bed]
What a weekend.
The Comets, down eighteen at the half, came all the way back to stun the Gulls one-oh-four to one-oh-two.
The Foundry rolled again. That's nine straight.
And a scare in Port Calder as their top scorer left in the third quarter. We'll have the latest on that.
Every highlight, every score. Weekend Wrap, tonight at eleven on Channel Six.
Kellerton Cup Final
Playoffs, football cup final · Adult (40-55) · Neutral British · 60 seconds
[Music: strings, slow and grand]
A hundred and twelve years. That's how long the Kellerton Cup has been played for.
It's been won in snow and in sunshine. Won by penalties, won by a goalkeeper's header in the last minute, won once by a side that had to borrow a kit because theirs was stuck on a train.
This year, two clubs are left.
Bramley Rovers, the favourites. Three trophies in five years, and a squad that hasn't lost since February.
And Saltmarsh Town. Part-timers. A plumber in midfield, a teacher in goal, and a town of nine thousand people who have never been this far.
[music lifts]
One of them goes home with the oldest cup in the county. The other goes home with the story.
The Kellerton Cup Final. Saturday, three o'clock, live on Northfield Sport.
[crowd roar]
This is what it's all about.

Thirty-two teams started the season. Two are left.
Voltline, the defending champs, who haven't dropped a map in three weeks.
And Pale Horse, the rookies who came out of the lower bracket and knocked out everybody in their way.
Best of five. Twelve thousand fans. One trophy.
The Split Second League Grand Finals. Sunday. Live.
Don't you dare miss it.
Rivalry Week
Game day, rivalry game · Adult (30-45) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[Music: a playful, tension-building bed]
They don't like each other.
They don't like each other's mascots. They don't like each other's fight songs. One of them once painted the other one's statue orange, and forty years later nobody's apologized.
This is Rivalry Week. Lindell against Marrow Falls.
[beat]
Families split down the middle. Grandparents who refuse to sit together at Thanksgiving. A town sign that's been stolen eleven times.
But underneath all that, there's this.
[music turns serious]
Both teams are unbeaten. The winner takes the conference and a shot at the title. The loser has to live with it until next November.
So pick a side. You were going to anyway.
Lindell and Marrow Falls. Saturday at noon, on the Crestline Sports Network.
[hit]
It's never just a game.
Sunday Night Ice
Network, weekly hockey open · Adult (30-45) · Neutral American · 30 seconds
[SFX: skate blades on ice, puck off the post]
The hits you feel through the screen.
The saves that shouldn't be possible.

This week, the Bay Ridge Blizzard visit the Kingsport Lumberjacks with first place on the line.
Sunday Night Ice starts now, on the Fieldhouse Network.
Her Name on the Banner
Hype, women's championship · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[Music: steady, driving beat]
They were told the gym was booked.
They were told the crowds wouldn't come. They were told to be grateful for the late-night slot, the hand-me-down uniforms, the bus that broke down twice on the way to regionals.
They played anyway.
[music builds]
And now look.
Sold-out arenas. Little girls in jerseys with names on the back. Prime time, national broadcast, and a final that has the whole country talking.
The Riverside Royals against the Marlow Bay Tide. Two of the best teams this league has ever seen, and one of them is about to hang a banner nobody can take down.
[beat]
The Women's Hardcourt League Championship. Thursday, eight o'clock, on Fieldhouse.
They were told no.
They're about to hear the crowd.

First pitch Friday at six-oh-five. Dollar hot dogs, fireworks after the game, and plenty of good seats left.
Play ball.
The Long Way Back
Hype, comeback documentary feature · Mature (55+) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[Music: solo acoustic guitar]
Two years ago, Marcus Bell was the fastest man in the Northern Conference.
Then, on a cold night in Wexley, his knee gave out on the last turn.
[beat]
He couldn't walk for four months.
He learned again in a clinic hallway, holding a rail, while doctors talked about him in the past tense. Some days he got ten steps. Some days he didn't get out of bed.
His daughter was born that spring. He says that's what got him up.
[music builds gently]
This Saturday, at thirty-one years old, Marcus Bell steps back onto a track for the first time since that night. He doesn't know if he'll win. He isn't sure that's the point.

This is what winter was for.
Top Five Plays of the Week
Recap, countdown highlights · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[Music: upbeat highlight bed]
It's time for the Top Five Plays of the Week.
Number five. Dana Ruiz of the Marlow Bay Tide steals the ball at half court, and she's gone before anyone turns around.
Number four. Port Calder's backup goalie, in his first ever start, stops a breakaway with his blocker, his pad and, as far as we can tell, his face. He's fine. He's a hero.
Number three. A diving catch in center field that turned a double into an out and a dugout into a dance party.
Number two. Kingsport, down one, eleven seconds left. Full-length pass, one touch, goal.
[beat]
And number one.
The Comets' Jaylen Ford. Spin move, behind the back, and a dunk that has the backboard still shaking.
Catch the full countdown every Monday on Crestline Sports Tonight.

Senior Night
High school, senior night tribute · Adult (40-55) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[Music: soft piano]
Tonight, eleven seniors play their last home game for Pine Hollow High.
They came here as freshmen. Skinny, nervous, helmets too big. One of them threw up before his first varsity snap. He'll tell you about it if you ask.
They ran the hill in August. They lost a lot more than they won that first year. And they stuck around anyway.
[beat]
They carried each other through injuries and breakups and finals week. They carried this town through a season it really needed.
Tonight, their parents will walk them out to midfield one more time. There'll be flowers, and photos, and probably a few tears in the stands.
And then they'll play. One more time, under these lights, in front of the people who watched them grow up.
Senior Night at Pine Hollow. Friday at seven, live on PHTV.
Thank you, seniors.

Who holds their nerve, and who finds the water?

The Road to the Crown
Esports, championship documentary tease · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
[SFX: crowd noise fading into synth pads]
Remember week one?
Nobody gave Pale Horse a chance. Five players from five countries, one of them still finishing high school, practicing in a rented apartment above a laundromat.
They lost their first three matches. People started making jokes.
Then something changed.
[music begins to build]
The comms got cleaner. The rotations got faster. And a support player named Kiri started making plays that had casters out of their seats.
Twelve straight wins. A lower bracket run nobody will forget. And now, a grand final against Voltline, the team that has won three of the last four titles and never, ever chokes.
[beat]
The veterans who wrote the playbook. The kids who tore it up.
