Pellmont Coffee: Five Tags

Tag set, coffeeAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 14s
Pellmont Coffee. Pour yourself a slower morning. Pellmont. Worth getting up for. Pellmont Coffee. Roasted like we mean it. Mornings, sorted. Pellmont. Pellmont. Good coffee. No fuss. Pellmont Coffee. The first cup is the best part.

Direction: Five takes, five colours: warm, dry, bright, intimate, confident
What it is for: Tag-variety drill: one brand, five attitudes, the way an agency asks for 'a few options on the tag'.
Coach's note: Watch out for saying the brand name the same way every time. Move the weight around: sometimes onto 'Pellmont', sometimes onto the promise. Take a full reset breath between lines so each one is a fresh take, not part of a list.
What casting listens for: On a tag session, casting listens for range inside a narrow box: five genuinely different reads, all on-brand.

Cobbleway Bank: Sign-Offs

Tag set, bankingMature (55+)Neutral BritishOne narrator15 secondsabout 14s
Cobbleway Bank. Steady, since eighteen eighty-seven. Cobbleway. A bank that still knows your name. Cobbleway Bank. Here for the long run. Talk to a person. Talk to Cobbleway. Cobbleway Bank. Sensible, with a heart.

Direction: Steady, reassuring, unhurried; one line with a smile, one completely straight
What it is for: Authority tags: finding warmth in a category that usually sounds stiff.
Coach's note: Watch out for going pompous on 'since eighteen eighty-seven'. Say the date like a quiet fact, not a boast. Vary the endings: some lines finish down and settled, one or two can lift slightly to invite the listener in.
What casting listens for: Financial casting listens for trust; they want the voice you'd hand your savings to.

Moonhop Cereal: Kids' Tags

Tag set, kids cerealYoung adult (18-25)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Moonhop! Breakfast that's out of this world! Hop to it! Moonhop! Moonhop cereal. Crunchy, munchy, moon-shaped fun! One small spoon, one giant crunch. Moonhop! Moonhop. Blast off to breakfast!

Direction: Big, bouncy, cartoon-bright but clear
What it is for: High-energy tag drill: keeping pitch and energy up without losing diction.
Coach's note: Watch out for shouting instead of smiling. Energy comes from the face and the rhythm, not volume, and 'Moonhop' has to land crisply in every line, even at full bounce.
What casting listens for: Kids' casting listens for energy that stays musical and never grates.

Ironback Trucks: Tags

Tag set, trucksAdult (40-55)Southern USOne narrator15 secondsabout 13s
Ironback Trucks. Built for the work. Ironback. When the job doesn't wait. Ironback Trucks. Haul more. Worry less. Ironback. Tough as the folks who drive it. Ironback Trucks. Go on. Load it up.

Direction: Low, gravelly, confident; no chest-thumping
What it is for: Truck-spot tags: power and understatement in the same voice.
Coach's note: Watch out for growling. The toughness is in the certainty, not the rasp. Land the final consonants ('built', 'work', 'haul'), and let one line be almost quiet to show you can.
What casting listens for: Automotive casting listens for a voice that sounds like it owns a truck, not like it's selling one.

Maison Veloure: Fragrance Tags

Tag set, fragranceAdult (30-45)Neutral BritishOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Maison Veloure. Wear the evening. Veloure. Remembered long after you've gone. Maison Veloure. Paris, by way of you. Quietly unforgettable. Maison Veloure. Veloure. For the moment before the door opens.

Direction: Low, intimate, unhurried; a secret shared, never breathy
What it is for: Luxury tags, where pace and pause are the product.
Coach's note: Watch out for going husky and breathy. Luxury is slow and precise, with full tone. 'Veloure' needs the same pronunciation every time (veh-LOOR), and the pause before the brand name should feel chosen, not like a stumble.
What casting listens for: Luxury casting listens for control: the ability to hold a pause and make it expensive.

Tuckett's Hardware: Local Tags

Tag set, local hardwareMature (55+)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 15s
Tuckett's Hardware. We've got the part. Tuckett's. Corner of Fifth and Main, since forever. Tuckett's Hardware. Ask us. We'll show you how. Tuckett's. Come on in. Mind the dog. Tuckett's Hardware. Fix it right the first time.

Direction: Folksy, friendly, the owner reading his own ad
What it is for: Local-radio tags with an owner's voice: plain, warm and specific.
Coach's note: Watch out for sounding like an announcer. Mr Tuckett reads these himself, so let the address sound like directions to a friend. 'Mind the dog' is a real warning with a smile, not a punchline.
What casting listens for: Local casting listens for a neighbour, not a network voice.

Nimbrelle Phones: Tags

Tag set, smartphoneYoung adult (18-25)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 11s
Nimbrelle. Everything, lighter. Nimbrelle Seven. Now you see it. Less phone. More you. Nimbrelle. Nimbrelle. Made to disappear into your day. No noise. No clutter. Just Nimbrelle.

Direction: Cool, clipped, understated; the tech-launch whisper-confident read
What it is for: The minimal tech tag: fewer words, more space, total precision.
Coach's note: Watch out for rushing short lines. With four words, the gaps are the rhythm. Keep the energy low but alert, and find one line where you let a tiny smile in, usually 'Just Nimbrelle.'
What casting listens for: Tech casting listens for 'cool without trying'; any push and it's gone.

Greenway Chemist: Tags

Tag set, pharmacy retailAdult (40-55)AustralianOne narrator15 secondsabout 13s
Greenway Chemist. Real advice, right around the corner. Greenway. Your local, looking after locals. Greenway Chemist. Ask us anything. Pop into Greenway. We'll sort you out. Greenway Chemist. Open late, every night.

Direction: Friendly, practical, local; a pharmacist you trust
What it is for: Warm retail tags with a caring edge, no health claims.
Coach's note: Watch out for over-caring. It's friendly and practical, not soft-focus. Keep the Australian natural, and give 'Greenway' the same shape each time so the brand sticks.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for approachability with a little authority underneath.

Skyhaven Air: Sign-Offs

Tag set, airlineAdult (40-55)IrishOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Skyhaven Air. The world is closer than you think. Skyhaven. Your window seat is waiting. Skyhaven Air. Fly well. Skyhaven. Home, and everywhere after. Skyhaven Air. Bringing people closer.

Direction: Warm, welcoming, a gentle lift; travel-brand calm
What it is for: Travel tags that invite rather than announce.
Coach's note: Watch out for sounding like a cabin announcement. These are invitations, so lift gently into the destination words and settle the brand name. One line can be playful ('window seat') and one quietly sincere ('closer').
What casting listens for: Travel casting listens for a voice that makes the listener want to be somewhere else.

Tailbrisk: Pet Food Tags

Tag set, pet foodAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 11s
Tailbrisk. Bowls licked clean. Who's a good dog? Tailbrisk. Tailbrisk. Real food for real good boys. Tailbrisk. Tails up at dinnertime. Tailbrisk. Because they'd pick it themselves.

Direction: Playful, bright, a dog person talking to dog people
What it is for: Playful tags that switch between talking to the owner and talking to the dog.
Coach's note: Watch out for missing the switch in 'Who's a good dog?' That line is said to the dog, higher and sillier, and the next line snaps back to the owner. Don't let the silly voice leak into the brand name.
What casting listens for: Pet casting listens for genuine affection; you can hear who owns a dog.

Sheltermark Insurance: Tags

Tag set, insuranceAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 11s
Sheltermark Insurance. Covered. Sheltermark. When it matters, we'll be there. Sheltermark Insurance. Life happens. We're ready. Sheltermark. Peace of mind, in plain English. Sheltermark Insurance. Call us first.

Direction: Reassuring, grounded, the calm friend in a crisis
What it is for: Reassurance tags: calm authority without sounding like a disclaimer.
Coach's note: Watch out for dropping every line into the same downward cadence. Reassurance still needs variety; let 'Covered' be clipped and final, and let 'We'll be there' open up a little.
What casting listens for: Insurance casting listens for calm that sounds earned, not sleepy.

Surgeline: Sports Drink Tags

Tag set, sports drinkYoung adult (18-25)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Surgeline. Push past the point. Surgeline. Fuel the final lap. Thirsty for more? Surgeline. Surgeline. Don't stop now. Surgeline. For the last ten minutes. Surgeline. Leave nothing in the tank.

Direction: Punchy, athletic, hype with control
What it is for: Hype tags that hit hard and stay clean.
Coach's note: Watch out for blurring the plosives into one explosion. Hit 'push', 'past' and 'point' crisply without popping the mic; back off slightly and turn your head a touch if you need to.
What casting listens for: Sports casting listens for intensity that's still clear enough to sell a product name.

Kilbrannan Hotels: Tags

Tag set, hotelsMature (55+)ScottishOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Kilbrannan Hotels. Stay a while. Kilbrannan. Where the Highlands slow you down. Kilbrannan Hotels. Come in, the kettle's on. Kilbrannan. Wake up somewhere wild. Kilbrannan Hotels. Scotland, done properly.

Direction: Warm, unhurried, a host by the fire
What it is for: Hospitality tags: slow, rich and welcoming.
Coach's note: Watch out for rushing the place names. 'Kilbrannan' needs space and a rolled, unhurried 'r'. Save the biggest smile for 'the kettle's on'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for the voice of the place: you should sound like you'd carry their bags in.

Commonplate: Charity Sign-Offs

Tag set, charityMature (55+)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Commonplate. Everyone deserves a seat at the table. Commonplate Food Network. Give what you can. Commonplate. Good food, shared. Feed a neighbor tonight. Commonplate. Commonplate. Nobody should eat alone.

Direction: Sincere, direct, quietly urgent; no guilt
What it is for: Charity tags: asking without pleading.
Coach's note: Watch out for tipping into guilt or tears. It's a straightforward ask from someone who believes in it. 'Give what you can' should sound like permission, not a demand.
What casting listens for: Nonprofit casting listens for sincerity that doesn't feel manipulative.

Big Dill's: Burger Tags

Tag set, fast foodAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 12s
Big Dill's. Stacked high. Pickled right. Big Dill's Burgers. It's a big dill. Get saucy. Get Big Dill's. Big Dill's. Extra pickle? Always. Big Dill's Burgers. Worth the napkins.

Direction: Fun, appetite-forward, a grin you can hear
What it is for: Appetite appeal: making food words taste good.
Coach's note: Watch out for rushing the food words. 'Stacked', 'saucy' and 'pickle' need a little extra relish, literally a slower, juicier delivery. Keep the brand name tight and consistent.
What casting listens for: QSR casting listens for 'mouth-watering': can you make a listener hungry?

Auto Lease Disclaimer

Legal, auto leaseAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s

Direction: Fast, crisp, even; friendly, never robotic
What it is for: The classic end-of-spot lease read: maximum speed, maximum clarity.
Coach's note: Watch out for speeding up until the words smear. Pick a fast but steady pace and hold it. Breathe after 'Not all will qualify', after 'dealer fees', and before 'Lessee responsible'; those are your three lungs.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a legal read they could put under picture at full speed and still understand every word.

Legal, pharma safetyAdult (40-55)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 32s
Do not take Veltrana if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including vitamins and supplements. Stop taking Veltrana and get medical help right away if you have swelling of the face, lips or throat, or trouble breathing. The most common side effects include headache and nausea. Ask your doctor if Veltrana is right for you.

Direction: Clear, calm, neutral; steady pace, no alarm
What it is for: The pharma important-safety-information read: calm, neutral and completely intelligible.
Coach's note: Watch out for sounding frightened on the side effects, or cheerful. It's neutral, like a good doctor. Breathe after 'supplements' and after 'mood or behaviour', and slow very slightly on 'get medical help right away'; it's the line that matters most.
What casting listens for: Pharma casting listens for neutrality: no emotional colour that could read as minimising or alarming.

Direction: Rapid, bright, matter-of-fact; the sweeps rattle-off
What it is for: The sweepstakes rattle: speed with every number and web address intact.
Coach's note: Watch out for swallowing the numbers. 'Eleven fifty-nine p.m. Eastern' and the web address are where listeners trip; hit them cleanly. Breathe after 'Void where prohibited' and after 'depend on the number of eligible entries'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for speed that still sounds like a person, not a sped-up recording.

Investment Risk Disclosure

Legal, financial disclosureAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 25s

Direction: Measured, authoritative, quick but never rushed
What it is for: The investment disclosure: speed plus gravitas.
Coach's note: Watch out for throwing away 'including possible loss of principal'. It's the line regulators care about, so keep it level and clear. Breathe after 'future results' and before 'Not insured'; that last three-part phrase is punchy and even.
What casting listens for: Financial casting listens for a voice that sounds credible even when reading the small print.

Direction: Upbeat radio-imaging speed, clean and friendly
What it is for: Station contest rules: the fastest read in local radio, still with a smile.
Coach's note: Watch out for losing the smile once you speed up. Keep the station energy while you rattle; the listener should still like you. Breathe after 'per household', after 'thirty days', and before 'Complete rules'.
What casting listens for: Radio casting listens for someone who can switch from DJ energy to rules and back without a gear change you can hear.

What casting listens for: UK financial casting listens for trustworthiness in the most serious sentence of the ad.

Visit the Everlowe website for full terms and conditions.

Direction: Quick, warm, clean; the friendly fine print
What it is for: Promotional-offer fine print read quickly without sounding evasive.
Coach's note: Watch out for sounding like you're hiding something. Speed is fine, but keep the tone open and friendly. Breathe after 'credit approval', after 'first ninety days', and before 'Other restrictions'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for fine print that still sounds like the same brand as the ad.

Direction: Fast, friendly, down-home; still crystal clear
What it is for: Local dealer fine print in a regional voice, at speed.
Coach's note: Watch out for letting the accent slow you down or blur the numbers. Keep the rhythm and the accent both. Breathe after 'documentary fee', after 'dealer incentives', and before 'Offer ends Monday'.
What casting listens for: Local auto casting listens for someone the town recognises who can still read legal at speed.

What it is for: The over-the-counter mandatory, plus promotional terms, in one clean run.
Coach's note: Watch out for rushing the mandatory. 'Always read the label and follow the directions for use' is required word for word; say it at a steady pace. Breathe after 'directions for use' and after 'health professional', then move quickly through the offer terms.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for clarity on the required line; everything after it can move.

Direction: Even, mature, reassuring; unhurried speed
What it is for: Gaming mandatories: responsible-play language that sounds sincere, not tacked on.
Coach's note: Watch out for rushing 'Please play responsibly' because it's familiar. It's the line that matters most, so give it a touch of sincerity. Breathe after 'eighteen or older' and after 'jackpot draw'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a mature, trustworthy voice that makes the legal sound like it means it.

Direction: Brisk, clean, modern; no stiffness
What it is for: Telecom fine print: long sentences, lots of conditions, total clarity.
Coach's note: Watch out for losing track of the long sentence. 'Speeds may vary depending on...' has a list inside it; group it in your head so the list doesn't sound like one word. Breathe after 'new customers only' and after 'network traffic'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a modern, conversational voice that can still carry dense copy.

Airfare Fine Print

Legal, airfareYoung adult (18-25)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s

What it is for: The alcohol responsibility line and legal copy delivered in the same rich brand voice as the ad.
Coach's note: Watch out for switching into a flat legal voice after a warm spot. The responsibility message should feel like it belongs to the brand. Breathe after 'Please enjoy responsibly' and after 'legal drinking age'.

Please read your policy documents carefully for complete details of coverage.

Direction: Measured, warm authority; clear and compact
What it is for: Insurance legal: dense, careful wording read with calm authority.
Coach's note: Watch out for dropping energy on 'not available in all states'. These lines are short and fall easily into a monotone; give each a fresh start. Breathe after 'limitations and exclusions' and after 'underwriting'.
