Brain Left the Building

Meditation appAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 15s
Three o'clock, and your brain just left the building? Quietfield Focus Flow is a new set of soundscapes made for deep work. Press play, pick a length, and settle in. Find Focus Flow in the Quietfield app today.

Direction: Upbeat and knowing, a smile on the first line, then settle
What it is for: A short upbeat app read with a gear change in the middle: joke first, then calm.
Watch out for: Staying at joke energy for the whole spot. The product is about focus, so the read lands softer from 'Press play'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for whether you can move from playful to settled inside fifteen seconds without it sounding like two different ads.

Lights Out, Mind Off

SleepAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s
You're exhausted. So why is your brain still running the meeting from Tuesday? Lullwell is a sleep app with bedtime stories, slow breathing and gentle soundscapes, made for the minute your head hits the pillow. No alarms. No bright screens. Just a calm voice and somewhere quiet to go. Try Lullwell free for your first week, then choose the plan that suits you. Lullwell. Close the day gently.

Direction: Soft, close to the mic, unhurried; never breathy for effect
What it is for: Trains a low-energy, intimate sleep read that still sells.
Watch out for: Whispering. Close and quiet is not a whisper, and a whisper disappears under music. The one light moment is 'the meeting from Tuesday'; let it smile.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for warmth at low volume and clean diction on the soft consonants.

Twenty Minutes Flat

FitnessYoung adult (18-25)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 15s
No time to work out? You've got twenty minutes. Hustlebox streams short, high-intensity classes you can do in your living room, your hotel room, or next to your desk. Your first class is on us. Hustlebox. Start sweating.

Direction: Playful and quick, a little cheeky, lands the tag with a grin
What it is for: Fast, playful fitness read with a list in the middle.
Watch out for: Rushing the list of rooms. Give 'living room', 'hotel room' and 'next to your desk' each their own picture; the last one is the joke.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for energy that stays conversational instead of turning into a shout.

Someone to Talk To

Mental healthAdult (40-55)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 28s
Some weeks, everything feels heavy. The inbox. The dishes. The thoughts that show up at two in the morning. You don't have to carry it by yourself. Lanternwise connects you with licensed therapists by video, phone or message, on a schedule that works for you. Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll help you find someone who fits. Lanternwise. Someone to talk to, when you're ready.

Direction: Warm, steady, compassionate; talk to one person, no sell in the voice
What it is for: Mental-health read: builds trust without pity or pressure.
Watch out for: Sounding sad on the opening list. You are describing their week, not grieving it. The turn is 'You don't have to carry it by yourself'; say it plainly, like a friend would.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for sincerity with no performance in it. If they can hear you 'being caring', it is too much.

Cereal Is Not Dinner

Meal kitsAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s
I had big summer plans. Cook more. Eat more vegetables. Stop calling cereal dinner. Then June happened. Pantry Parade got me back on track. Fresh ingredients, measured out, with recipes a tired person can follow. One pan, half an hour, and suddenly I'm the one who cooks with, like, herbs. Pick your meals online and we'll bring them to your door. Pantry Parade. Dinner, sorted. Cereal, retired.

Direction: Funny, conversational, self-deprecating; real person, not an announcer
What it is for: Comedy in a testimonial shape: timing on short lines, a callback in the tag.
Watch out for: Stepping on 'Then June happened.' It needs a beat before and after. The tag 'Cereal, retired' is a callback, so it only works if the first cereal line landed.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for comic timing that sounds unplanned.

Your Plate, Decoded

NutritionAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 28s
What if your dinner came with instructions written just for you? Forkprint starts with a simple at-home kit and a detailed questionnaire about how you eat, sleep and move. Our nutrition team turns your answers into a weekly eating plan, with recipes and shopping lists that fit your life. It's not a diet. It's a map. Forkprint. Find out what works for you. Check with your doctor before changing your diet.

Direction: Intriguing, a touch of mystery up top, then clear and friendly
What it is for: Opening-hook read: pull the listener in with a question, then explain simply.
Watch out for: Keeping the mystery voice all the way through. Drop it by 'Forkprint starts'. The disclaimer is part of the read, not an afterthought; keep it warm and clear.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a hook that intrigues without sounding like a movie trailer.

Take the Long Way to Bed

Self-careAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s
Long day? Heavy shoulders? Run the bath a little warmer tonight. Hollow Pine Bath Co. makes small-batch bath soaks with sea salt, oat and lavender, blended to help you slow down and unwind. Pour a handful, light a candle, and let the rest of the world wait twenty minutes. Members get early access to every seasonal blend. Hollow Pine Bath Co. Tonight, take the long way to bed.

Direction: Soothing, slow, sensory; let the ingredients breathe
What it is for: Sensory product read. Trains slowing down without losing the listener.
Watch out for: Reading the ingredient list like a label. Sea salt, oat and lavender are three smells; picture each one. Don't rush 'let the rest of the world wait'.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a relaxed read that still has a pulse underneath it.

Coach in Your Ear

FitnessAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 15s
Headphones in. Let's go. Coachwave puts a real trainer's voice in your ear for runs, lifts and rides, matched to your pace. No guesswork. No wandering around the gym. Download Coachwave, and train like someone's got your back.

Direction: Energetic and motivating, like a trainer who likes you
What it is for: High-energy fitness read that stays human.
Watch out for: Barking. 'Let's go' is encouragement, not an order. Keep the energy forward and the tone friendly into the tag.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for drive without aggression.

Sunshine Check

Wellness testingAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s
Here's a question most of us never ask. How much vitamin D am I actually getting? Long winters, indoor jobs and busy schedules make it hard to know. Brightday Labs sends a simple finger-prick kit to your home. Mail it back, and you'll get easy-to-read results online, plus questions to bring to your next doctor's appointment. Brightday Labs. Know where you stand. Then talk to your doctor.

Direction: Informative, friendly authority; a knowledgeable neighbor, not a lab coat
What it is for: Informational wellness read with a responsible tag.
Watch out for: Selling it like a miracle. The product only gives you information, so the read is curious and helpful. The tag has two halves; lift 'Then talk to your doctor', don't throw it away.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for credibility that comes from clarity, not from a deeper voice.

Haunted Ship

SleepAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator60 secondsabout 62s
Let's be honest about your mattress. It's been with you through three jobs, two apartments and one very unfortunate haircut. It has a dip in it shaped exactly like you. And when you roll over, it makes a noise like a haunted ship. It's time to let it go. Nightjar Mattress Co. builds hybrid mattresses in three feels: soft, medium and firm. Coils underneath for support. Layers of foam on top for comfort. And a cover you can actually unzip and wash, which, let's face it, your current mattress has never experienced. We ship it rolled up in a box that fits through a normal door, and it springs into shape by bedtime. Then you get a full season of nights to decide. If it isn't the one, we'll come and take it away. Visit Nightjar online and find your feel. Nightjar Mattress Co. Your old mattress had a good run. Let it retire.

Direction: Witty, dry, confiding; the humor is in the detail, not the delivery
What it is for: A long comedic read: sustaining a character voice through a product middle section.
Watch out for: Losing the wit when the product facts arrive. The middle ('Coils underneath...') can stay light if you keep talking to the same friend. The last line is a callback; let it be gentle.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for dry humor that never winks too hard, and for whether the facts stay clear.

Skipped a Beat

Healthcare (local)Adult (40-55)Neutral AmericanOne narrator60 secondsabout 60s
Remember your first date? The nerves, the laughing, the moment your heart skipped a beat? That was romance. But when your heart flutters, races or seems to skip for no reason at all, it may be worth getting checked. It could be an irregular heart rhythm, and it's something doctors see every day. Other signs can include dizziness, shortness of breath, or feeling tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to go away on its own. The cardiology team at Ridgemont Regional Heart Center offers heart rhythm testing and a full range of treatment options, including minimally invasive procedures, all close to home. We'll listen, explain what we find in plain language, and build a plan with you. Talk to your doctor, or call Ridgemont Regional to book an appointment. Ridgemont Regional Heart Center. Your heart, our focus.

Direction: Warm, nostalgic open, then clear and caring; informative without alarm
What it is for: Hospital service-line read. Trains the shift from a charming hook to serious health information.
Watch out for: Staying romantic after the hook, or going grave on the symptoms. The turn is 'That was romance.' After it, you are a calm, informed friend. No fear in the voice.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for trustworthiness on medical content and a smooth handover from story to information.

Still Flutters

Healthcare (local), duetMature (55+)Neutral AmericanTwo narrators (duet)30 secondsabout 30s

Cast: DANAMIKE

DANARemember our first date? My heart was skipping all over the place.
MIKEMine still does that.
DANAAw.
MIKENo, I mean it actually does that. Flutters. Skips. Sometimes I get a little dizzy.
DANAMike. That's not romance. That's a doctor's appointment.
MIKE...You're right. I'll call them first thing tomorrow.
DANARidgemont Regional Heart Center checks heart rhythms right here in town.
MIKECall today. Ridgemont Regional. Your heart, our focus.

Direction: Affectionate long-married couple; comedy first, then the penny drops
What it is for: Two-voice hospital spot with a comic misunderstanding that turns serious.
Watch out for: Playing the turn too big. Dana's 'Mike.' is quiet concern, not alarm. Mike's 'No, I mean it actually does that' must sound casual; he doesn't know it matters yet.
What casting listens for: For duets, casting listens for a real relationship between the voices, not two people reading lines at each other.

Fall Reset

NutritionAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 29s
Fall is here, and so is your fresh start. Plateful makes healthy eating simpler, with portioned meals delivered to your door and a personal coach who checks in along the way. No artificial sweeteners. No guesswork. And no standing in front of the fridge at nine p.m. wondering what counts as dinner. Sign up this month for fall savings. Plateful. Real food, real support, one plate at a time. Individual results vary.

Direction: Upbeat, encouraging, a friend with a plan; light on the fridge joke
What it is for: Seasonal offer read with a required disclaimer at the end.
Watch out for: Promising results with your tone. Plateful sells support and convenience, so keep it friendly rather than triumphant. Read 'Individual results vary' clearly, a touch quicker.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for encouragement that doesn't tip into pressure.

Groceries, Solved

Meal kitsAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 15s
Recipes and groceries, together, delivered to your door. Sprout Wagon plans your week and packs your bag. Sign up online for a little bonus in every box, for a limited time. Sprout Wagon. Eating well, made easy.

Direction: Bright, easygoing, efficient
What it is for: Tight 15-second retail read with an offer.
Watch out for: Cramming. There is time for this copy if you don't pause between every phrase; keep the middle sentence on one line of thought.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a clean, friendly read that hits the brand name twice without punching it.

The 7:42

Meditation appAdult (30-45)Neutral BritishOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s
The 7:42 is late again. The carriage is packed. And someone is eating crisps directly into your ear. Right. Deep breath. Tenbreath is a meditation app for people who haven't got an hour on a cushion. Three minutes, ten slow breaths, one calm voice. Do it on the platform, on the bus, or in the loo at work. We won't tell. Tenbreath. Three minutes back to yourself.

Direction: Dry British humor up top, then genuinely calm
What it is for: Trains a comedic scene-setter that turns into the product's calm.
Watch out for: Staying irritated after 'Right. Deep breath.' That line is the turn: the breath is real, and everything after it is slower and kinder.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a dry, understated comic read and a believable shift into stillness.

Iron Mill

Fitness, localMature (55+)Southern USOne narrator60 secondsabout 60s
I've been running Iron Mill Gym on Depot Street for thirty-one years. I've seen every kind of person walk through that door. Kids trying to make the team. Moms getting their strength back. Retired fellas whose doctor told 'em to move more, who showed up mad about it. Here's what I tell every one of 'em. You don't have to be in shape to start. That's what we're here for. We've got free weights, machines, a walking track, and group classes from sunup to sundown. Our trainers will show you how everything works, and they'll never make you feel foolish for asking. No fancy juice bar. No mirrors on every wall. Just good equipment, clean floors, and folks who'll learn your name. Come by this week and try us out, on the house. Iron Mill Gym, on Depot Street in Coopers Bend. You show up. We'll handle the rest.

Direction: Gruff, warm, owner-operator; talks like he's leaning on the front desk
What it is for: Local owner testimonial. Trains a character voice sustained over a full minute.
Watch out for: Playing 'gruff' so hard the warmth disappears. The heart is 'You don't have to be in shape to start.' Slow down there; he has said it a thousand times and still means it.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for authenticity. It should sound like the actual owner, not an actor doing an old man.

Older Folks

FitnessMature (55+)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 26s
I used to think water aerobics was for, well, older folks. Then I turned sixty-eight and realized I was older folks. Now I'm in the pool at Harlow Community Center three mornings a week. Low-impact classes, friendly instructors, warm water, and the best gossip in town. There are classes for every level, and beginners are always welcome. Harlow Community Center. Come on in. The water's lovely.

Direction: Sunny, sharp, self-amused; a woman who is having a great time
What it is for: Senior testimonial with a self-deprecating joke. Trains natural comedy in a mature voice.
Watch out for: Playing 'old'. She is lively and quick. The joke is 'I realized I was older folks'; give the setup a tiny pause before it, then move on without milking it.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for vitality and wit in the 55+ range, the most requested and hardest-to-find sound in that bracket.

Tuesday Night

Meal kits, duetAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanTwo narrators (duet)30 secondsabout 33s

Cast: SAMJO

SAMWhat's for dinner?
JOWhat's for dinner is the question I've been dreading since noon.
SAMCereal?
JOWe had cereal Monday.
SAMCereal's undefeated.
JONot tonight. Tonight, we're having lemon chicken with roasted veggies.
SAMSince when can you make lemon chicken?
JOSince Supper Sorted. Everything comes measured, with a recipe card, and it's ready in twenty-five minutes.
SAMWho are you?
JOA woman with a plan. Set the table.
SAMSupper Sorted. Meal kits for real weeknights.

Direction: Quick domestic banter between partners; fond, not sitcom-loud
What it is for: Two-voice kitchen comedy with a product reveal in the middle.
Watch out for: Sam's 'Cereal's undefeated' needs to be deadpan, not a joke-voice. Jo's reveal line is the sell; slow it just enough that every detail lands.
What casting listens for: For duets, casting listens for pace: picking up cues fast without trampling the other voice.

Pillow Talk

SleepAdult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 14s
Shh. Hear that? That's nothing. That's the sound of a Hushlane pillow. Cool on both sides. Shaped to your neck. Soft enough to forget about. Find your fit at Hushlane online today. Sweet dreams.

Direction: Hushed and playful, a secret between you and the listener
What it is for: Short, quiet, playful read. Trains control of low volume without losing the brand name.
Watch out for: Letting 'Hushlane' vanish because you're speaking softly. The brand name gets a little more voice than the words around it.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for intimacy and a smile at low level.

Like a Leaf Blower

Sleep, healthcare (local)Adult (40-55)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 29s
Does your partner say you snore like a leaf blower? Do you wake up tired, even after a full night in bed? It might be more than a bad night's sleep. Cedar Valley Sleep Center can help you find out, with overnight and at-home sleep studies reviewed by specialists, and a clear explanation of what comes next. Ask your doctor about a referral, or call us directly. Cedar Valley Sleep Center. Rest easy.

Direction: Gentle humor to open, then reassuring and clear
What it is for: Local clinic read: light hook, serious service, simple call to action.
Watch out for: Letting the leaf blower joke set the tone for the whole spot. After 'It might be more than a bad night's sleep', you are reassuring, not funny.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a smooth gear change from humor to credibility.

Open Late

Healthcare (local)Adult (25-40)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 29s
Sprained ankle at soccer practice? Earache that showed up at six p.m.? A cut that looks like it needs a stitch or two? Millbrook Urgent Care is open late, seven days a week, and no appointment is needed. Check in online, wait at home, and we'll text you when it's your turn. For life-threatening emergencies, always call nine-one-one. Millbrook Urgent Care. On Fourth and Main, for when it can't wait till Monday.

Direction: Brisk, capable, reassuring; like a nurse who's seen it all
What it is for: Fact-dense local read with a mandatory safety line.
Watch out for: Throwing away the emergency line. 'For life-threatening emergencies, always call nine-one-one' is the most important sentence in the spot; give it clear, calm weight.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for efficiency with warmth, and clean handling of practical details.

The First Hello

Healthcare (local)Adult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator60 secondsabout 55s
There's a moment you'll never forget. The room goes quiet, just for a second. And then there's a cry, and it's the loudest, most beautiful sound you've ever heard. At the Birth Center at Havenport Memorial, we're honored to be part of that moment. Our private suites are designed to feel more like home than a hospital room, with space for your partner to stay the night. Our nurses and midwives work alongside your doctor to support your birth plan, whatever it looks like. And if you or your baby need extra care, our newborn specialists are right down the hall. We also offer tours, childbirth classes and feeding support, before and after you go home. Because a birth isn't just a medical event. It's the day your family begins. Havenport Memorial Birth Center. Welcome to the world.

Direction: Tender, emotional but controlled; let the opening image breathe
What it is for: Emotional hospital read. Trains holding feeling through a practical middle section.
Watch out for: Getting teary on the opening and having nowhere to go. Keep the emotion in the pauses around 'and then there's a cry'. The facts section should stay warm, and the last two lines are where you can open up.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for emotion that is felt rather than displayed, and for clarity on the service details.

Flu Season Checklist

PharmacyAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanOne narrator15 secondsabout 14s
Flu season checklist. Wash your hands. Stock up on tissues. And get your flu shot at Fairweather Pharmacy, no appointment needed. Ask your pharmacist if it's right for you. Fairweather Pharmacy. Your neighbors behind the counter.

Direction: Crisp, neighborly checklist; friendly authority
What it is for: Short list read with a responsible advisory line.
Watch out for: Letting the checklist go sing-song. Three items, three different pictures. 'Ask your pharmacist' is part of the sell; keep it warm.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for clean pacing on a list and a neighborly sound.

It's All Right to Ask

Mental healthAdult (40-55)IrishOne narrator60 secondsabout 60s
Sometimes it creeps up on you. You stop answering the phone. You tell everyone you're grand. You lie awake working out how to get through tomorrow. If that sounds like you, or someone you love, you're not on your own. And you don't need the right words to reach out. Harbour Light Counselling offers confidential support with trained, accredited counsellors. We see people in person, in our rooms on Quay Street, or by phone and video if leaving the house feels like too much right now. You don't have to wait for things to get worse. You can come to us as you are. The first conversation is simply a chat, to find out what might help. You go at your own pace, and you can stop whenever you like. Harbour Light Counselling. It's all right to ask. If you're in danger right now, please contact the emergency services.

Direction: Gentle, grounded, compassionate; no pity, no sell; slow but never sleepy
What it is for: Long-form mental-health read. Trains sincerity, pacing and handling a safety line with care.
Watch out for: Leaning into sadness on the opening. You are describing what it's like so the listener feels recognised, not diagnosed. The turn is 'you're not on your own'. The final safety line is plain and kind, never an afterthought.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a voice people would trust with something difficult. Any trace of 'performing compassion' loses the job.

Quiet at Dinner

Mental healthAdult (40-55)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 26s
My son used to talk my ear off. Then, somewhere around fourteen, he went quiet. Headphones on. Door shut. 'I'm fine, Dad.' I didn't know if it was normal teenage stuff, or something more. Talking Tree Family Counseling helped us find out. They work with teens and parents, together and separately, with no judgment and no lectures. Talking Tree Family Counseling. Helping families find the words.

Direction: Honest, slightly worried dad; understated
What it is for: Parent testimonial for family counseling. Trains restraint.
Watch out for: Doing a teenager voice on 'I'm fine, Dad.' Quote him flatly, the way a parent remembers it. The turn is 'or something more'; let the worry sit there for a beat.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a real father, not an actor telling a story about one.

Mom's Kitchen

Senior careAdult (40-55)Neutral AmericanOne narrator60 secondsabout 58s
My mom has lived in the same house for forty-six years. She knows which floorboard creaks and which neighbor borrows her rake. She was never going to leave that kitchen. But after her fall last spring, I started lying awake. Was she eating? Taking her medications on time? What if it happened again and nobody was there? That's when we found Evergreen Hands Home Care. Now a caregiver named Rosa comes by every weekday. She helps with meals, errands and bathing, and reminds Mom about her medications. She drives her to appointments. And some afternoons, they just sit on the porch and do the crossword. Mom still has her kitchen. I have my peace of mind back. And Rosa? She's practically family. Evergreen Hands offers flexible in-home care, from a few hours a week to around the clock. Evergreen Hands Home Care. Helping them stay home.

Direction: Heartfelt adult-daughter testimonial; worry, then relief, then a smile
What it is for: Long testimonial with a clear emotional arc: pride, fear, relief.
Watch out for: Flattening the arc. The fear section ('Was she eating?') should be quicker and tighter than the rest. The relief starts at 'That's when we found'. The porch and crossword line is the smile.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a three-part arc in one minute, all of it believable.

Porridge and a Putting Green

Senior careMature (55+)ScottishOne narrator30 secondsabout 28s
When my wife and I moved to Willow Bend, I thought I was giving something up. Turns out I'd gained a putting green, a woodworking shop, and a chef who knows exactly how I like my porridge. Willow Bend Residences offers independent and assisted living, with caring staff on hand day and night. Book a visit and stay for lunch. You'll see. Willow Bend Residences. Your life, at your pace.

Direction: Twinkly, contented, a man pleasantly proven wrong
What it is for: Mature testimonial with charm. Trains a light, specific list.
Watch out for: Rushing the list of surprises. The putting green, the workshop and the porridge are three small delights; give each a little lift, with the porridge as the punchline.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for charm and specificity in a mature voice, and an accent that sounds lived-in, not put on.

Not a Glass of Water

NutritionYoung adult (18-25)Neutral AmericanOne narrator30 secondsabout 27s
Quick question. When did you last drink water? Like, actual water. Not iced coffee. Yeah. Same. Siply is the smart, refillable water bottle that gently glows when it's time for a sip, and syncs with an app that tracks your day. Set your daily goal, pick your color, and let the bottle do the nagging for you. Siply. Because iced coffee is not a glass of water.

Direction: Upbeat, chatty, Gen Z-adjacent without the caricature
What it is for: Youthful conversational read with a callback tag.
Watch out for: Overdoing 'like' and 'Yeah. Same.' until it becomes a sketch. It's one friend teasing another. The tag is the callback; land it with a grin.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for a young sound that is natural and specific rather than a 'young voice'.

Salt and Stretch

FitnessAdult (25-40)AustralianOne narrator60 secondsabout 56s
Picture this. Six in the morning, the tide's going out, and the sun's just coming up over the headland. You roll out your mat, take one long breath of salty air, and for the first time all week, nobody needs anything from you. That's a Tuesday at Saltbush Yoga. We're a small, friendly studio right on the esplanade, with classes for every body and every level. Slow flow for stiff mornings. Stronger classes for when you want to work. And gentle yin on Sunday evenings, to set you up for the week ahead. Never done yoga before? Brilliant. Our beginners' course runs every month, and our teachers will walk you through every pose. No pretzels required. Bring a mat, or borrow one of ours. Bring a mate, too. Saltbush Yoga, on the esplanade. Breathe in. Breathe out. Come as you are.

Direction: Relaxed, sunny, inviting; a smile you can hear
What it is for: Long, image-led local read. Trains painting a scene before the sell.
Watch out for: Speeding through the opening picture to get to the facts. The first paragraph is the ad; take your time. 'No pretzels required' is a light joke, so don't underline it.
What casting listens for: Casting listens for warmth and ease across a full minute, and a natural accent.

Since Flip Phones

Healthcare (local), duetAdult (30-45)Neutral AmericanTwo narrators (duet)60 secondsabout 60s

Cast: PATIENTDENTIST

PATIENTI'll be honest. I haven't been to the dentist in... a while.
DENTISTThat's okay. How long is a while?
PATIENTDo you remember flip phones?
DENTISTFondly. Have a seat.
PATIENTIs this going to hurt? Last time there was a lot of scraping. And a lecture.
DENTISTNo lectures here. We'll start with a look, take a few quick x-rays, and talk through what we see before we do anything.
PATIENTYou're going to tell me to floss.
DENTISTI'm going to suggest you floss. Gently. Like a friend.
PATIENTAnd if I need work done?
DENTISTThen we'll explain your options and the costs up front. No surprises. And if you get nervous, raise your hand and we'll pause.
PATIENT...That's actually really nice.
DENTISTWe hear that a lot. Now, open wide.
PATIENTBrightwater Family Dental. Welcoming new patients, even the ones who've been hiding.

Direction: Nervous patient, calm and funny dentist; gentle comedy
What it is for: Long two-voice comedy that also carries clear service information.
Watch out for: The dentist rushing to reassure. Their calm is the whole sell, so their lines are slower than the patient's. The patient's '...That's actually really nice' is the turn; mean it.
What casting listens for: For duets, casting listens for contrast: two clear energies that still sound like they're in the same room.
