That's you.
So when you call, you talk to someone local. When crews go out, they're driving roads they grew up on. And every year, members get a say in how it's run.

Linemen at Dawn
Electric utility, brand · Mature (55+) · Neutral American · 30 seconds
I see them from my kitchen window most winters. Before sunrise. Bucket truck, hard hats, a thermos passed hand to hand. Frost on the windshields.
They don't wave. They're busy. But I always wave anyway.
Those are the line crews of Kindle Creek Electric. Our neighbors. Up the pole when the rest of us are still under the blankets.
Kindle Creek Electric. Your neighbors on the line.
Draughts Are Not a Feature
Energy efficiency, rebates · Adult (30-45) · Neutral British · 30 seconds
That draught under the back door? It isn't 'character'. It's money, whistling out into the garden.
Northmarsh Energy is helping customers seal up their homes this winter, with rebates on loft insulation, draught-proofing and smart heating controls.
Book a free home check, and we'll show you where the warmth is escaping. Warmer rooms. Lower bills. Fewer jumpers on the sofa.

The Drip That Wouldn't Quit
Water utility, leaks · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 30 seconds

Goodbye, Gerald. Glasswell Water. Every drop, accounted for.

Sunmeadow Solar answered every one. No pressure. A clear design for our roof, straight talk on the costs and the incentives, and a local crew who cleaned up like they'd never been there.
Now the sun does some of the work, and my kids check the app to see what the roof made today.

Thirty years digging foundations, and here's what I tell every new guy. You don't know what's under there. Nobody does, till somebody marks it.
Gas lines. Power cables. Fiber. Water mains. Hit one and it's not just a bad day. I've seen it happen.
So call the Tri-County Locate Line at least three working days before you dig. It's free.
Know what's below. Then dig.

And if you see a downed line, stay back and call us.

Kettle On, Bill Down
Gas and electricity supplier · Adult (40-55) · Irish · 30 seconds
The kettle goes on in our house about fourteen times a day. I've counted.
So when it came to switching energy, I wanted two things. A fair price, and someone who answers the phone.
Ballyfern Energy gave me both. Switching took ten minutes, the meter readings are on the app, and when I rang with a question, a lovely lad from Mayo sorted it.
Ballyfern Energy. Put the kettle on.

Heat Pump Curious
Energy efficiency, heat pumps · Adult (30-45) · Scottish · 30 seconds
I'll be honest. A year ago I didn't know what a heat pump was. Thought it was something for a swimming pool.
Then Lochside Power came round and explained it. How it pulls warmth from the outside air, even on a dreich January morning. What it would mean for our old boiler.
Turns out, quite a lot.
Lochside Power. Book a free heat pump survey. Grants may be available.
Arvo Sun
Solar, feed-in · Adult (25-40) · Australian · 30 seconds
Two o'clock in the arvo. Everyone's at work, the dog's asleep on the veranda, and the sun is absolutely belting down on the roof.
With Gumleaf Energy solar, all that sunshine gets put to work. Power the house, and send what you don't use back to the grid.
The sun's doing the work. You're just enjoying it.
Gumleaf Energy. Make the most of the arvo. Terms and eligibility apply.
The Quiet Alarm
Public safety, carbon monoxide · Adult (30-45) · Neutral American · 30 seconds
You can't see it. You can't smell it. Carbon monoxide gives no warning of its own.
That's why a carbon monoxide alarm belongs on every level of your home. Test it once a month. And have your gas furnace and water heater checked by a qualified technician every year.
If the alarm sounds, get everyone outside and call for help.
A safety reminder from Stonemeadow Gas.
Storm Season Starts Now
Public safety, storm preparedness · Adult (40-55) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
Storm season is here, and the best time to get ready is before the sky turns grey.
Start today. Build a kit with flashlights, batteries, water, and a few days of non-perishable food. Keep your phone and a power bank charged. If someone in your home relies on medical equipment that needs power, call us now and let us know.
When the storm arrives, stay inside and away from windows. If the power goes out, switch off major appliances so they don't surge when it returns. And if you use a generator, run it outdoors only, well away from doors and windows.
After the storm, watch for downed lines. Always treat them as live. Keep back, keep kids and pets away, and call it in.
Our crews will be out as soon as it's safe, working around the clock to restore power.
Riverbend Public Power. Ready before the storm. Here after it.

A Hundred Years of Light
Electric cooperative, anthem · Mature (55+) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
A hundred years ago, the nights out here were long and dark. Farm families read by kerosene lamps. The city had electricity. The country waited.
So our great-grandparents got tired of waiting. They pooled what little they had, set poles by hand, and strung the wire themselves, mile by mile, farm by farm.
The first night the lights came on, people stood in their yards just to look at them.
That was the beginning of Tri-Valley Power Cooperative.
A century later, the poles are taller, the lines are smarter, and the solar fields hum along beside the corn. But the idea hasn't changed. This co-op belongs to the people it serves. Members vote. Members decide. Members own it.
Still ours. After a hundred years.
Tri-Valley Power Cooperative. Owned by the folks who flip the switch. Here's to the next hundred.
Every Drop Counts
Water utility, conservation · Adult (30-45) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
Last August, I drove past the reservoir and saw the old fence posts sticking out of the water. The ones you're not supposed to be able to see.
That stayed with me.
Here's the thing. Most of us don't waste water on purpose. It just slips away. A sprinkler running at noon, when half of it evaporates. A toilet that keeps running after you flush. A hose left on while you wander off to answer the phone.
Glasswell Water has a few easy fixes. Water the garden early in the morning or after sunset. Check for leaks with our free kit. And ask about rebates on water-saving fixtures and smart irrigation controllers.
Small changes, all across the valley, add up to a full reservoir.
Let's keep those fence posts under water where they belong.
Glasswell Water. Every drop counts. Rebates subject to availability.
The Road Trip That Didn't Stop
EV charging network · Young adult (18-25) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
I was nervous. Five hundred miles, my first electric car, and a best friend who had already made three playlists.
My dad kept asking, 'But where are you going to charge it?'
Turns out, everywhere. The Amberline app mapped out the whole route before we left. Fast chargers at rest stops, grocery stores, a diner with the best pie in the state. We plugged in, grabbed a snack, stretched our legs, and by the time we'd argued about the next playlist, we were ready to roll.
Somewhere around the second state line, I stopped checking the battery.
We saw a canyon at sunset. We found a thrift store with a jukebox. We got a little lost and didn't even mind.
And my dad? He's asking me about electric cars now.
Amberline Charging. Charge up. Carry on. Charging speeds vary by vehicle and location.
Warm Homes Street by Street
Community energy scheme · Mature (55+) · Neutral British · 60 seconds
Our street was built in nineteen thirty. Lovely houses. Terrible for keeping heat in.
Every winter, the same story. Coats on indoors. Radiators on full. Bills that made you wince.
Then Northmarsh Energy started their Warm Homes scheme, going street by street. They knocked on every door. Free surveys. Help with insulation, draught-proofing and smarter heating controls. Grants for those who qualified.
Mrs Okafor at number twelve went first. Then the Hendersons. Then me.
Now, in the evenings, people linger at their front doors, chatting, comparing notes about how warm their kitchens are. The young couple at the end bring round biscuits. It's the most we've talked to each other in years.
It feels like a street again.

The Line Nobody Marked
Public safety, call before you dig · Adult (40-55) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
It was a Saturday. I was putting in a mailbox post. How hard could it be? Two feet down, maybe less.
I'd done it before. I didn't think about what was under the lawn.
About a foot and a half down, the shovel hit something that wasn't a rock. Then I heard the hiss.
Gas line. Right there, under my front yard. I got my family out, called for help, and stood on the sidewalk while the crew shut it off.
Nobody got hurt. But I think about it. It was that close.
Here's what I didn't know. One call to the Tri-County Locate Line, a few working days before you dig, and they'll come mark the gas, power, water and fiber lines on your property. It's free. Every time.
A fence. A garden bed. A mailbox post.
Know what's below. Then dig.
A message from the Tri-County Locate Line.
Solar Without a Roof
Community solar · Adult (25-40) · Neutral American · 60 seconds
I rent. I live on the third floor. My view is a parking lot and a very dramatic pigeon.
So I figured solar just wasn't for me. No roof. No say. No chance.
Then I found out I don't need a roof.
Sunmeadow Community Solar builds large solar farms out on the edge of town. You subscribe to a share of the power one of them makes. The energy flows onto the local grid, and you get credits on your electric bill.
No panels on your building. No installation. No landlord permission. If you move within the service area, your subscription moves with you.
It feels good, honestly. Knowing that somewhere out past the highway, there's a field of panels with a little bit of my name on it.
Me and the pigeon are very proud.
Sunmeadow Community Solar. Solar, no roof required. Availability and savings vary.
