Marketing Release

This form is optional. Saying no, or not filling it in, doesn't change your membership in any way.

Our classes are recorded for the members' class archive (see our Terms of Service). This form is about something different: using you in public marketing. We only do that with your written yes, and only in the places you tick.

1. What you're agreeing to

This release is for VO Journey Academy only. It doesn't cover Academy Voices, which is a separate business. Nothing you agree to here lets Academy Voices use you in its marketing.

I agree that Anthony Pica Productions, LLC, for VO Journey Academy, may use clips from class recordings, lives and webinars that show my face, voice, name, reads and comments, plus anything I send in for a member spotlight (such as my photo, headshot or a win I share), in the places I tick:

  • Social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Paid ads
  • Website, emails and the podcast
  • My demo: VO Journey may use clips of the demo we produced for you in our marketing, in the places ticked above

No box is ticked for you. You choose each one.

2. How your name is shown

We'll show your first name and last initial (for example "Jamie R.").

  • Tick here if you'd like your full name shown instead.

3. What we promise

  • We may edit clips for length and add captions. We won't edit you to say something you didn't say, or show you in a way that changes your meaning.
  • We will never use your voice to train AI or to make a synthetic copy of your voice.
  • We won't sell your clips or give them to anyone else to use.
  • Before a clip of you runs in a paid ad, we'll show it to you first.
  • You are not paid for this.

4. Changing your mind

You can change your mind at any time, for any reason. Email apica@avosjourney.com and tell us which part you're withdrawing (or all of it). From then on:

  • within 14 days, we'll stop all new use of you, and that includes stopping any paid ads that use you,
  • posts we published on our own accounts and website before you withdrew can stay up. We don't have to take them down, but we won't reuse them or turn them into ads,
  • emails already sent can't be recalled, and posts other people have already shared may stay online.

Withdrawing doesn't affect your membership.

5. Your details

I am 18 or older, or my parent or guardian has signed below.

The form will ask for:

  • your name (a typed name is fine),
  • the email you use for your VO Journey account,
  • the date,
  • and, only if you're under 18, a parent or guardian's name and the date.

To sign: email apica@avosjourney.com with the subject "Marketing Release", your full name, and which uses you agree to. An online form is coming soon.
