Gabby Nisticoon why she started VOJOW
Gabby started VOJOW, and it's still hers. She's spent 25 years in advertising, casting and copywriting, and you've probably heard her voice for Lego or Harley Davidson.
At VO Journey she also teaches Acting every Monday night, and she's a regular on Open Forum Friday with Anthony. She's a no-nonsense coach and a trained educator, and VOJOW gets the same Gabby you'd get on a Monday.
Once a month the group meets live on Zoom with Gabby. Some nights there's a guest speaker and some nights it's a workshop. A lot of the time it's a peer-led conversation about whatever members are dealing with right now.

In 2025 Gabby started a project just for VOJOW. You pick a female character from a fairytale or a classic children's story, and Gabby writes you a short script told from that character's point of view. You record it and she gives you notes. Then you add music and sound effects.
Scripts so far include Miss Muffet and the Monster, Old Mother Hubbard, My Life in a Shoe, Old MacDonald's Wife and The Snow Queen.
